How it works

We compare the letters you provide with an English word list and only show words that can be formed without using a letter more times than you supplied it. Results are grouped by length, longest first. Use the filters to narrow a puzzle: a starting letter, a sequence of letters that must appear, an ending, or an exact length. “Use every letter” searches full anagrams instead of shorter words.

What counts as a word?

This tool uses the public-domain ENABLE word list, credited to its creators. It may include unusual terms and omit game-specific words. It is not an official dictionary for any particular word game; check that game's rules before playing. The dictionary downloads to your browser; the letters you type are not submitted to LakhNet.
